About STEM Kids Canada
STEM Kids Canada is not-for profit arm of Code-it Hacks Kids, to bring quality STEM education to all Canadian youth. We use Play-based approaches to teach students the art of coding, working with Robotics, and other physical computing skills.
Our mission is to inspire kids to use their own imagination to create and innovate. Using Design Thinking principles, we teach students the whole life cycle of thinking , designing and creating.

Making an Impact
We are hopeful that one day all Canadian schools will have top notch technology platform fully integrated in the curriculum. But we are far from it. There are pockets of schools and programs that are now offering STEM programs. There is hype and momentum around STEM programs, however, on a global scale we are not leading the cause.
It is with this thought that we are set to do more than our business can afford to sustain itself. In the past, we have organized numerous free workshops across Ontario Libraries. We are even more convinced now that a lot more needs to be done.
We hope to make a difference with the community outreach program, with the aim of bringing quality STEM programs to all Canadian youth with prime focus on areas that lack such opportunities the most.
